Oluwapelumi Akinola

Oluwapelumi is a licensed and certified Human Resource Professional with a proven track record of enhancing organizational effectiveness and efficiency through strategic talent management, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance.

He holds a First-Class Honours degree in Public Administration from Nasarawa State University and an MSc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lagos, where he presented his thesis on The Impact of Remote Work on the Productivity of Female Employees. Additionally, he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology from the Redeemed Christian Bible College (RCBC).

Oluwapelumi is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Nigeria’s premier HR regulatory body, where he currently serves as Chairman of the Lekki/Ajah/Badore (LAB) Chapter, Lagos State Branch. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM) and a certified trainer and Associate of the Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (NITAD). His credentials include Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC).

He is an active member of several professional HR networks, including HR Foundry, the Association of Elite Human Resource Professionals (AEHRP), and HR Global Partners, where he contributes to the Research and Development Unit.

Oluwapelumi has garnered professional experience across diverse sectors, including the public sector, tech management, HR consulting and financial service industry. He is recognized as a leading HR Consulting Voice on LinkedIn, where he regularly shares practical insights on HR management and personal/professional development. He currently serves as Head of Human Resources at Networth Portfolio & Asset Management.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Oluwapelumi is also a Pastor at RCCG, The Living Seed Church (LSC), Ajah. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality moments with friends and family, playing games, and watching Netflix.
